Projects

The Park participates in several of its own projects collaborating with different technology agents to develop new activities, promote the transfer of technology and knowledge and interagent collaboration promoting innovation. Amongst these projects, the following can be highlighted:

• Promotion of sustainable development in industrial and technological areas.

• Promotion of business collaboration between Science and Technology Parks.

• Promotion of creativity in the Bizkaia Technology Park.

• Energy Efficiency.

• Development of new high technological intensity industrial sectors.

• Support to the creation and development of other Science and Technology Parks.

• Promotion of the internationalisation of companies: International missions and collaboration with parks.

The Park also promotes technological development projects and the introduction or improvement of I&TD infrastructures and equipment for technology based firms and scientific-technological entities, promoting collaboration and providing access to special financing sources. It specifically acts as the managing organisation for the following aids:

• National Sub-programme of Actions in Science and Technology Parks (ACTEPARQ) of the Ministry of Science and Innovation.

• Aid Programme for the creation of technology based innovation businesses in Science and Technology Parks (CEIPAR) of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce (MITYC).
