Presentation

The Technology Park was established in 1985 in Zamudio, by promoting the institutions of the Basque Country, with a mission to promote the diversification of industry, and the transfer and dissemination of technology and innovation.Today the park covers the towns of Zamudio and Derio. In addition, the Technology Park of Bizkaia has addressed its extension to the proposed campus on the Left Bank, in the municipalities of Abanto and Ortuella, and the proposed Science Park at the UPV / EHU Leioa.

It comprises 213 hectares of privileged natural environment, in Zamudio and Derio, where advanced technology companies are based, together with excellent communications infrastructures. Its size will reach 292 hectares when the projects campus on the Left Bank and the Science Park in Leioa materialize.
