Spri opens application period for Technical Qualification Reports on R&D projects in order to qualify for tax benefits

Basque companies are now able to request Technical Qualification Reports for ongoing R&DI projects from the SPRI. This report, issued by the SPRI, will be of great help to companies when applying for tax benefits for this concept from the three Basque regional offices, as the report will be linked to the tax authorities for all information referring to the nature and qualification of the activity, including research, development or innovation.

This procedure is the result of an inter-institutional commitment which has emerged from the agreement signed between the Tax Office, the Regional Governments of Alava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, and the SPRI on 29 April 2009. The procedure for requesting this information is open and will remain in vigour until 31 December 2009.
