On Sunday 15 November, the Alava, Vizcaya and San Sebastian Technology Parks held their Open Day, in the framework of the Basque Science, Technology, Innovation and Quality Week.
The Basque Government’s Minister of Industry, Innovation, Commerce and Tourism, Bernabé Unda wanted to emphasise the good attendance of the public to this Open Day, as well as wish of the companies and people in the Technology Parks to show and explain their work to the Basque Society. During his visit to the Vizcaya Technology, the Minister, Mr Unda, pointed out that “we are determined to be at the forefront of technology”.
The Open Day is an excellent opportunity to see the work carried out in the Technology Parks and to know the companies installed in them. Their objective is to bring Science, Technology and Innovation closer to society and to show an example of a high quality industrial environment, based on new technologies, research, development and innovation.
Almost 15,000 people took part in the scientific workshops, games, shows and other activities for all ages that rounded off the programme in Alava, Vizcaya and San Sebastian Technology Park Open Days.
